It is interesting that 1 Corinthians 13 is between 12 and 14 that deal with supernatural prayer and supernatural gifts of the Spirit in the church. Also those two chapters are about the four kinds of ministries in the church of Jesus Christ. You should read the three chapters. It is not enough to hear preachers. Each one has to read the Bible, the New Testament in particular. It has to be read over and over and over again. In the church of Jesus Christ we are to show love. If we help in the church, whatever we do, all has to be in love. Here are the first three verses in English :
