Most people take 2 Corinthians 13 as standing alone. It is really part of chapters 12 and 14. The three stand together. If chapters 12 and 14 are disregarded so should be chapter 13. Indeed most churches do disregard the chapters 1l2 and 14. Many say the time of perfection has come. Perfect, in our churches? In our pulpits? Rather, building castles in Spain! It would be well to take scissors and cut the chapters out of the Bible! The love chapter is an important one. ‘Strive after the greater gifts; is a command from the Lord. We all should obey it. Then the Love Chapter commences, with in this Source translation, one from the most recent manuscrips: ”Moreover I am showing you an excessively extreme pathway. If I would speak with the supernaturally given languages of people and of Messengers (angels). but not have love, I would be a bit of metal that makes a noise, or a clanging cymbal’. The video deals with the whole chapter. It is a wonderful chapter. Moreover, a comment is made in relation to verse 8, ranslated: ‘supernaturally given languages will cease’: that ‘It has been wrongly suggested that as it is Future Middle Tense, it means that supernaturally given languages will cease of their own accord. This is incorrect’. Regarding prophecies, supernaturally given languages, knowledge – – ‘now we look through a mirror in a riddle, but then we wil look face to face’. That of course is in heaven. ‘But in p oint of fact these three will remain, faith, hope and love, and the greatest of these is love’. Then love is described. #Christian #BibleStudy #IreneBonneyFaulkes #Truth #wordofgod #HolySpirit #Quotes
