GENTILES HIS TARGET

In Christ, there is neither Jew nor Gentile, bond nor free, male nor female as Paul taught in Galatians.
When he was stil preacing – untl about A.D. 63, there were still Jews and Gentiles. That situation continued after his death, ending at the fall of Jrusalem, August, A.D.70. Eusebius of Caesarea, church historian along with Flavius Josephus for period up to A.D.327 records: Christians had no interest in bodily circumcision,; there was a knowledge of ‘Christ’ in the Psalms (105:15); (patriarchs) knew the Christ of God, since He appeared to Abraham, taiught Isaac, spoke to Israel (Jacob), and conversed with Moses’. Before circumcision, Abraham had been deemed righteous through faith, the God who showed Himself, Christ Himself the Word of God, in him all the nations of the earth are blessed. Now this has obviously been fulfilled in us – for it was by faith in the Word of God, the Christ who had appeared to him, that he was made righteous. All these serving God and not by the Law of Moses who came later. Christians alone throughout the world, practice their faith in the same way Abraham practiced it. Christ’s teaching is not new nor strange but ancient’. Paul understood all this as he we see in Galatians 3 and 4. It is not a marvel that Paul had such an undertaning of the gospel being particularly for the Gentiles – and not for the Jews particularly. It was given to the latter first. They as a nation disregarded Christ crucified Him, and disbelieved the gospel. They did not change before their demise in A.D.70. None exist today, being of another race and no of Abraham. #Christian #BibleStudy #IreneBonneyFaulkes #Truth #wordofgod #HolySpirit #Quotes
