John the Baptist said the He who was to come was greater than he and that He would baptise with the Holy Ghost and Fire . He would use a fork to clear away the grain after it has been threshed. This would be by throwing the trains into the air. He would separate the righteous people fro the evil people. Then He would bur the people who are like chaff with a fire. John prophesied the baptism with tongues as confirmed by Jesus in Acts 1. He also prophesied the fire of destruction in judgment on Israel. Joel had prophesied in a similar way in his short book. Fire and tongues. Both certainly happened in the generation of Jesus’ day. Of those standing before Him some would still be alive for both events. This brings us from A.D.33 to A.D.70 for both events. The first was the tongues, Acts 2. The second, the fire, was the judgment on Jerusalem. #Christian #BibleStudy #IreneBonneyFaulkes #Truth #wordofgod #HolySpirit #Quotes
