Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came down to this earth to be born as a baby. He came in His God or Divine nature and took unto Himself the nature of man. He was without sin.
The right way in every aspect of belief and practice if it is based on the Word of God, has a straight or narrow gate of entrance. This is found in Matthew 7:13,14. There is a wide gate that has a broad road but it leads to spiritual ruin even disaster or to perdition. Continue reading
These Bible verses are very plain.
JOHN 3:3, “Except a man be born again” or “from above”, i.e. have a new birth he cannot see or partake of the kingdom of God. It is not new fruits but new roots. It is not reformation but renovation
As Jesus Taught
The story of a man coming to Jesus under the cover of darkness strikes at the heart of the need of all of us. The realities of the supernatural as revealed by Jesus can only grip our attention.
It should be noted at the outset, that the “Anointing” for us in this gospel age, is the Holy Ghost Himself. In Acts 10:38, Peter said how, “God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost”.
When we consider the Holy Spirit as a Person in His office for the church, we can never detach Him from Christ and His work of redemption. That is His role for us.
In the early 1960ss we were told about the books of Kenyon by a New Zealander. This was just after we went into the ministry for the Assemblies of God in Goomeri, sent by Pastor Garnet Budge of Gympie on the advice of his Solicitor cousin, later Pastor of Ipswich Assembly of God, Derrick Herschell.
Amos 9:11,12 and Acts 15:16,17
“On that day I will raise up the booth of David that is fallen, and repair its breaches, and raise up its ruins, and rebuild it as in the days of old. In order that they may possess the remnant of Edom and all the nations who are called by my name, says the LORD (the Lord,) who does this”.
I believe there are many Indian brethren who are wanting more of God. I know there are believers there and in other countries, such as Australia, who want a revival. I know that in India Pastors, believers and churches are seeking the Lord.
Many people have questioned me about the meaning of 1 Corinthians 11:1-16. Some have asked me to teach on it. Therefore, we are presenting the following teaching in the hope it will prove illuminating and helpful to Pastors, believers and churches everywhere.
